Bed-to-Wheelchair Transfers

The transfer sling can assist a caregiver in raising a suitable user from the bed, positioning the lift and lowering the user into a compatible wheelchair.

The person does not need to stand before lifting. Wheelchair dimensions, brake access and sling removal must be assessed.

Toileting and Commode Transfers

The included commode sling is intended to support appropriately assessed transfers involving a toilet or commode.

Adequate floor space, toilet access, hygiene needs and user positioning must be checked first.

Moving Between Suitable Seats

EasyLift may assist transfers between a bed and another appropriate chair, provided the chair's dimensions and the user's posture, transfer method and supervision are suitable.

Selected Vehicle Transfers

The lifting system may assist a transfer to or from a suitable car only after verifying floor clearance, door opening, available turning space, vehicle seat height and a safe handling route.

The lift is not a car seat. The user must travel in the vehicle's approved seating and restraint system.

Clinically Supervised Standing or Gait Activities

The included gait-training sling can be used for selected rehabilitation activities when the equipment configuration is approved and a qualified rehabilitation professional has assessed the user.

It is not a substitute for a dedicated body-weight-support training system in every case.

Practical Benefits

EasyLift is intended to reduce repeated manual lifting and help caregivers handle daily transfers more consistently.

No particular clinical improvement, fall prevention or reduction in injury risk is guaranteed.

Who May Be Suitable

• Adults who cannot independently stand or safely pivot and need sling-assisted lifting for bed, wheelchair or commode transfers.
• Users with compatible body dimensions, postural support needs and an assessed transfer plan, within the 200 kg maximum user-weight limit.
• Homes and care facilities with sufficient clear floor space for the lift's base, wheel movement, caregiver access and destination chair.
• Beds providing at least 6 inches of available under-bed clearance along the intended base route.

When Another Device May Be Better

• A person who can stand and pivot with limited assistance may need a simpler sit-to-stand or swivel transfer aid.
• A user requiring extended or complex lifting paths, especially over obstacles, may need a different mobile or overhead patient-hoist system.
• If the bed has insufficient under-bed access, narrow doorways, large thresholds, uneven flooring or an unsuitable transfer path, EasyLift may not fit or operate safely.
• Car transfers cannot be assumed solely because the product can raise the user. Each vehicle and handling route needs an individual assessment.
• Gait-training suitability requires professional assessment. EasyLift is primarily an assisted transfer lift.

Customization and Configuration

• Three sling types — transfer, commode and gait-training — are included as standard.
• Discuss alternate sling sizes or additional replacement sling sets according to user measurements.
• The removable therapy / utility tray is included as listed in the current product specification.
• Non-standard frame or accessory modifications require manufacturer approval and written confirmation of price and compatibility.

Safe Preparation

• Use trained caregiver supervision throughout lifting, moving and lowering.
• Do not leave a user unattended while suspended.
• Check the transfer route, available under-bed clearance, destination seating and any medical lines before positioning the lift.
• Match the sling type and size to the user's measurements and transfer method.
• Inspect sling fabric, stitching, straps and cam-buckle attachments before each use.
• Check all four castors, brakes, frame joints, actuator, battery and controller.
• Do not use damaged or malfunctioning equipment.
• Follow the current user manual for wheel-brake use during sling fitting, lifting, repositioning and lowering.

During Operation

• Do not exceed the 200 kg maximum user weight.
• Use only on firm, level and stable surfaces.
• Do not use on stairs, steep slopes or rough ground.
• Keep the user's limbs, clothing and medical tubing clear of moving mechanisms and wheel paths.
• Use the wired remote as instructed and release the button to stop lift movement.
• Do not operate the lift while its battery is charging.
• Never use EasyLift as a substitute for a wheelchair or vehicle passenger seat.

Power Failure and Emergency Planning

• The current EasyLift configuration has no dedicated emergency-stop button and no manual emergency-lowering function.
• Discuss a safe assisted recovery procedure and alternative transfer plan with Morecare and the user's care team before routine use.
• Do not depend on the lift to lower someone after an electrical or mechanical failure.
• Keep the battery charged according to the user manual and check operational status before every transfer.

Cleaning, Storage and Maintenance

• Clean the powder-coated frame with a soft damp cloth and suitable mild cleaner.
• Do not pressure-wash the actuator, battery or controller.
• Wash and dry the slings according to their labels and the supplied manual.
• Check sling wear, attachment points, castor movement, brakes, locking hardware, actuator and wiring regularly.
• Remove the user before folding or dismantling.
• Store the equipment clean and dry.
• Arrange authorized servicing if abnormal motion, noise or damage appears.
