Important Selection Information

The standard configuration is intended for users up to 150 kg with an appropriately fitted harness.

The 300 kg structural frame rating must not be interpreted as the maximum permitted user weight.

Safe Operation

• Use the i-Gait only under the supervision of a qualified therapist or trained caregiver.
• Select the correct harness size according to the user's weight and body dimensions.
• Inspect harness straps, buckles, stitching, and suspension attachments before every session.
• Ensure the user is correctly positioned and securely fastened before operating the electric lift.
• Check all frame connections, adjustment knobs, and parallel bar locks before use.
• Confirm that the caster brakes are engaged whenever stationary positioning or suspension activities require a fixed frame.
• Follow the appropriate wheel-locking procedure for the specific overground or treadmill training configuration.
• Operate the suspension system using the wired handheld remote.
• Keep hands, clothing, and loose objects away from moving parts.
• Do not exceed the 150 kg maximum standard user weight or the permitted rating of the fitted harness.
• Do not interpret the 300 kg structural frame capacity as permission to suspend a 300 kg user.
• Do not use the equipment without appropriate supervision.
• Stop operation immediately if unusual noise, instability, damaged components, or electrical faults are observed.

Power Failure Precautions

During a power failure, the suspension system holds its current position, but motorized movement is unavailable.

The operator must not assume that powered lowering or repositioning will remain possible.

A supervised emergency assistance procedure should be established before use, particularly for users unable to support themselves independently.

Cleaning & Routine Care

• Clean the frame and stainless steel handrails using a soft damp cloth.
• Clean harnesses according to their care labels.
• Allow all components to dry before reuse.
• Keep electrical components, cables, and the handheld remote dry.
• Avoid abrasive cleaners, solvents, and corrosive chemicals.
• Remove dirt and debris from caster wheels.

The device does not measure or display the percentage of body-weight unloading.
