Everything you need to know about this product.
Morecare Ergo-Walk – Adult Forearm Support Walker
The Morecare Ergo-Walk provides forearm support during standing and walking practice. Its padded platform allows the user to rest both forearms while holding the upright handgrips. The five-wheel base moves with the user without requiring the frame to be repeatedly lifted.
The user enters through the open rear section and stands within the frame. Suitability depends on the user's ability to bear weight, take steps, maintain their position and control the walker.
Padded Forearm Platform
The shaped platform provides a padded support surface for both forearms, with a rear opening to accommodate the user's body.
Adjustable Platform Height
Telescopic uprights allow the platform height to be adjusted and secured using locking knobs. The platform should be fitted to the user's standing elbow height and support requirements.
Upright Handgrips
Two upright handgrips provide handholds above the platform during standing and walking practice.
Five-Wheel Base
Five castor wheels provide rolling movement. The open rear section allows access to the walking area within the frame. Check doorway clearance and available turning space before ordering.

Supported Standing Practice
The padded platform provides a surface for forearm support during standing practice. Caregiver or therapist assistance may be required according to the user's balance and support needs.
Walking Practice
The wheeled frame accompanies the user during stepping practice, providing forearm support and handholds.
Home and Rehabilitation Use
Ergo-Walk can be considered for a suitable indoor walking area at home or in a rehabilitation setting. Adequate space, a level floor and clear pathways are important.
Individual Suitability
Selection should consider the user's weight-bearing ability, balance, upper-limb function and ability to control the walker. A diagnosis alone does not determine suitability.
Support Limitations
The pictured configuration does not include a pelvic sling, trunk harness or knee supports. Ergo-Walk is not a patient lift or full-body suspension system and should not be relied on to catch a fall.
Who May Consider Ergo-Walk?
Ergo-Walk may be considered for adults who need forearm support during standing and walking practice and can actively participate in stepping and controlling the walker.
Abilities to Assess
Before selecting this walker, assess whether the user can
- Bear weight through their legs during standing and stepping.
- Maintain their body position with forearm support.
- Place their forearms comfortably on the padded platform.
- Use the handgrips and control the movement of the frame.
- Follow instructions for using the walker.
Caregiver or therapist assistance may be required.
When Additional Support May Be Needed
The pictured configuration does not include a pelvic sling, trunk harness or knee supports. Users who cannot maintain their position with forearm support, experience unpredictable knee collapse or require full-body suspension may need a different support system.
Ergo-Walk does not lift the user into standing and should not be relied on to catch a fall.
