Lower-Limb Positioning During Travel

Leg straps, removable abduction support and a cushioned foot support allow caregivers to organize the child's leg and foot placement and help keep feet away from the wheels, subject to appropriate fitting.

Family and Community Participation

The low-weight folding frame may help families manage practical trips such as shopping, visiting relatives and attending activities without carrying a large wheelchair.

Realistic Outcomes

EasyGo offers assisted travel and positioning options. It does not guarantee improved posture, independence, relief from pressure injury or suitability for prolonged seating. The child's comfort and alignment should be monitored during use.

Who May Be Suitable

• Children who require caregiver-propelled mobility with some additional head, chest and lower-limb positioning support.
• Children within the published 4–8-year target group, or older children up to approximately 12 years when an approved customized fit is possible.
• Children whose body measurements are compatible with the 14-inch seat width, 14-inch seat depth, 16-inch backrest height and adjusted supports.
• Families seeking a lightweight travel chair for shorter outings and appointments.

When Another Product May Be More Appropriate

• For prolonged daily seating, significant asymmetry or complex pressure/postural needs, consider a specialized seating system or suitable tilt-in-space wheelchair after assessment.
• Children with substantial loss of head/neck control may need a different head-support design; the standard headrest alone may not provide adequate stability.
• A child whose hip width, seated thigh length, trunk height or leg length is incompatible with the chair should not be selected based on age or the weight rating alone.
• Children needing independent self-propulsion require a different wheelchair configuration.
• EasyGo is not designed to serve as a child car seat or an occupant restraint in a moving vehicle.

Measurements to Share Before Ordering

Provide the child's age, weight, overall height, seated hip width, thigh length, lower-leg length, trunk height, head control, trunk balance and any leg-crossing or foot-positioning difficulties.

Photos of the child's current supported sitting position may help. Seek therapist guidance for complex cases.

Confirm that the chair and optional accessories fit the child's needs, the folded chair fits the intended vehicle, and caregivers can safely assist with transfers and travel.

A diagnosis or GMFCS level alone does not establish seating suitability.

Customization and Configuration

• Adjust the contoured headrest height and the supplied four-point butterfly harness for the child's assessed fit.
• Adjust the padded leg straps and folding footrest; position the removable leg-abduction component only where appropriate.
• Alternative harness sizes, customized backrest height, additional positioning supports and other cushion options may be discussed before ordering.
• Activity tray and sun canopy are optional paid accessories, not included as standard. Confirm the selected options and quoted prices before payment.
• Any custom component must be approved for use with this wheelchair by Morecare.

Essential Safety Instructions

• Check the child's head, chest, pelvis, legs and feet before movement. Use the positioning harness as intended and avoid excessive tightening or restriction of breathing.
• Secure rear parking locks for entry, exit, transfers and stationary use. Confirm they hold before placing or removing the child.
• Use attendant hand brakes appropriately during caregiver-controlled movement, following the user manual. Do not assume hand brakes substitute for parking locks unless the actual mechanism is confirmed.
• A responsible adult must supervise the child throughout use.
• Use only on appropriate level and smooth surfaces. Avoid stairs, steep slopes, rough tracks and unstable ground.
• Keep the child's feet and clothing clear of wheels and folding mechanisms.
• Remove the child before folding or lifting the wheelchair into a car. Never use the wheelchair as a vehicle passenger restraint without specific certification of the complete system for that purpose.
• Monitor seating tolerance during outings and allow appropriate breaks; this product is primarily a travel solution rather than a prolonged postural seating system.
• Do not exceed the confirmed maximum user weight of 80 kg.
• Stop use if brakes, harness, headrest, folding locks, wheels or frame are damaged or loose.

Cleaning and Preventive Maintenance

• Wipe the aluminium frame with a soft damp cloth and mild cleaner.
• Clean fabric, straps and cushions according to their supplied material-care instructions and dry thoroughly.
• Avoid bleach, abrasive cleaners and high-pressure washing.
• Remove hair and debris from wheels, inspect brakes and fasteners, and check the folding mechanism regularly.
• Store the chair clean and dry and obtain Morecare-approved parts or servicing when needed.
