The seat frame width is fixed at 18 inches, but the positioning cushions help accommodate children with different hip widths and body sizes.

Before Every Use

Check the frame locks, rear parking brakes, wheels, anti-tip components, harness, headrest and footrests.

Confirm that the adaptive cushions and positioning supports are correctly fitted.

Inspect the tilt and recline mechanisms for smooth operation.

Safe Seating & Transfers

Apply both rear parking brakes before transferring the child.

Position the pelvis correctly within the seating system and configure the adaptive cushions without creating excessive pressure.

Secure the five-point positioning harness and adjust the headrest and footrests.

Use the transfer method recommended for the child's abilities and care needs.

Tilt & Recline Safety

Operate the tilt and recline mechanisms slowly and under caregiver supervision.

Keep fingers and loose clothing away from moving components.

Mobility Safety

Do not exceed the maximum stated user weight of 80 kg.

Blueflax must not be used as a vehicle passenger restraint system unless the complete wheelchair has been separately approved for that purpose.

Cushion & Fabric Care

Clean the frame using a soft damp cloth and mild soap.

Remove and wash cushion covers according to the supplied care instructions.

Allow cushions and covers to dry completely before reuse.

Inspect the cushions regularly for compression, damage or loss of support.

Routine Maintenance

Regularly inspect the wheels, brakes, folding locks, fasteners, harness and positioning components.

Check the gas-spring-assisted tilt and recline systems for proper operation.

Replace worn or damaged parts before continued use.

Storage & Transportation

Remove the child before folding the wheelchair.

Secure detachable components and store the wheelchair in a clean, dry environment.

Check the wheelchair's folded dimensions against the available vehicle storage space before transportation.

Returns & Transit Damage
